What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is the UK Government’s scheme to encourage businesses to adopt best practice when it comes to cybersecurity. Unlike ISO 27001, it focuses more on technical controls than business processes. To win government contracts that involve sensitive or personal information, a business must be Cyber Essentials certified.
